S.U.

Every winter in Trentino, millions of tourists arrive to enjoy the beauty of the landscapes, the art and the hospitality of the region’s residents. The valleys of Trentino make for excellent skiing and winter sports in general.
The Rendena Valley, tucked between the Adamello and Dolomite mountains, is a natural wonderland that follows the course of the Sarca River.
There are old towns deeply rooted in tradition like Spiazzo, Iavrè and Villa Rendena. There are also elegant, more international towns like Madonna di Campiglio and places for real sport fanatics like Pinzolo.

The valley has its own rhythms and invites you to become one with nature. To do so, you can try mountain biking, Nordic walking or trekking. The mountains are outfitted for such activities, but if you prefer, you can always hire a guide to take you where you want to go and discover places that are off the beaten path.  There is plenty to discover in the Adamello Brenta Natural Park, the largest in the Alpine range. The park is also the most varied in terms of landscape: there are glaciers, 80 lakes and unbelievably beautiful mountain peaks. There are shelters for resting and long paths for hikers of all levels. Some have hi-tech equipment, fantastic views and great babysitting facilities.

Colture biologiche, prodotti freschi e piatti della tradizione: tra le montagne del Trentino l'eccellenza gastronomica è la regola

Biological crops, fresh products and traditional dishes: throughout the mountains of Trentino, gastronomic excellency is a rule!

Gourmet restaurants and food stores

Honest food and authentic products make food shopping a real pleasure in Trentino.
Speck, the signature product of the region, is loved by gourmets around the world.
In Trentino, it is made by hand, as it has been for centuries.
The secret is in the smoking and aging. The folks at Brenta Salumi, in Pinzolo, know this well.
They begin by selecting quality meat which they then dry salt, lightly smoke to make the meat more sweet, and age it for up to 10 months. At the store, in addition to speck, you can by carne salada (salted meat), garlic salame, fiocco stagionato (aged, cured pork) and luganega trentina (raw pork sausage).
Nearby, you will find a 100% organic yogurt producer.
Azienda Agricola
Fattoria Antica Rendeva makes yogurt daily using fresh milk from Rendena breed cows.
And for lovers of acquavite, at the Distilleria Genziana Giovannni Boroni the roots of hand-harvested alpine plants have been distilled into alcohol for over 150 years.

The specialties of Trentino can also be enjoyed on site at restaurants like Mildas in Giustino.
Housed inside a former convent, the signature dish of the restaurant is pork shin with rice and gulasch with polenta.

Otherwise, you can enjoy the rustic chic atmosphere of Casa al Campo farmhouse.
The restaurant here starts with excellent local ingredients and prepares them with care.
Try the rabbit and polenta. (The farmhouse also has a couple of rooms for rent.)

If you are near Madonna di Campiglio, you must pay a visit to Malga Montagnoli, a restaurant located high in the mountains, known as grilled meat “with a view”.
It is suggested that youarrive by snowcat and, if you want, you can ski down the hill after your meal.

Lo Speck del Trentino, con la caratteristica forma a scudo, si distingue per il gusto morbido e aromatico, ottenuto grazie all'affumicatura con fumo di legna e alla sapiente stagionatura

The Speck from Trentino, with its typical shield shape, distinguishes itself for its soft and aromatic taste, obtained thanks to the wood smoking process and to a knowledgeable aging

Family friendly hotels

If Campiglio has always been the destination of choice for trendy tourists, Pinzolo can be described as a more relaxed, traditional sort of town. Depending on what type of vacation you are looking for, we suggest that you select your hotel accordingly. Built using green materials not far from the ski lifts for Spinale in Campiglio, Boutique Hotel Chalet Dolce Vita boasts twenty elegant guestrooms, each one different from the next and decorated with Alpine antiques. There is a spa, a large sitting room with a fireplace for reading or cocktailing. The hotel also has a worthy restaurant run by chef Enrico Cratti.

Un week-end o una settimana bianca in Val Rendena trascorrono fra ambienti da fiaba, atmosfere uniche e un'ospitalità di altissimo livello

A weekend or a hole week in Val Rendana spent between fairy tail surroundings and hospitality of the highest level.

Down the main road heading towards Pinzolo, you will find a sign near Sant’Antonio Mavignola for Maso Doss, an old chalet with granite walls and a larch-wood roof. The six guestrooms are decorated in wood. At dinnertime, guests sit at one large table in front of the fireplace. Warmth and conversation are guaranteed.
