WTTW ChicagoI think there is nothing more to add to this email I just received from Mario Rizzotti, Academia Barilla’s Italian Culinary Specialist and TV Chef celebrity, so I will just copy and paste the email on this post. Here it is.

DEAR ALL,

I wanted to send you this e mail to let you know that Academia Barilla and Mario Rizzotti will be feature on WTTW channel 11 (please check your cable listing for the correct channel) during a documentary about Italian Americans.

The documentary is called “AND THEY CAME TO CHICAGO: THE ITALIAN AMERICAN LEGACY”.

Producer Gia Amelia did really an amazing job in portraying the Italians in the USA from the 1800 until today. Please do not miss this documentary, narrated by Tony Award Winner Joe Mantegna and with some famous Italian-American actors being part of it.

Plus do not miss the food segment where Academia Barilla and myself will appear. The segment turned out to be nice and vivid and Chef Dean Zannella from 312 Chicago will be using Academia Barilla products to prepare a special Ligurian-inspired recipe.

I have seen the previews and it is not the same boring documentary. You will like it, and if you are Italian American you will appreciated it even more.

Nothing more to say at this point besides “WATCH IT”, don’t miss it.

The documentary will be airing on WTTW Channel 11 at 5:30 p.m. Chicago time on June 10th, 2007. If you can’t watch it make sure you tape it at least so you can watch it when you have time.

Enjoy the show and send me your feed back.
