Giada has also been the official Barilla Ambassador (or spokesperson) for last year, and our collaboration with Giada, aslo at Academia Barilla, is projected forward. At Academia Barilla we have many opportunities to catch-up with Giada - you might remember one of our posts last month, when we met her at the Second Annual World Festival in Chicago.

When Giada published her latest book, Giada’s Family Dinner, she teamed up with Barilla for an afternoon of book signing at the National Restaurant Association show in 2006.

That afternoon she also performed a cooking session, presenting a couple of recipes from her book, Little Thimbles and Sciue’ Sciue’ (Fusilli with Shrimp & Arugula, and Linguine with Spicy Red Clam Sauce). Of course in that occasion she used Academia Barilla’s olive oils, cheeses and balsamic vinegars to make her culinary creations perfect!

Today we want to homage Giada by publishing a video shot a couple of years ago during a visit to Parma, where Giada says she always hunts for the three Ps: prosciutto, parmigiano e pasta!
