The Academia Barilla team in the United States has been invited to take part to several events, as we reported at the end of last month – we haven’t stop since then. Unfortunately, we couldn’t even found much time to blog here on Italian Food Lovers.

Ok, let’s recap what happened in the last few weeks.

As you already know, Academia Barilla was one of the sponsors and players at the Liberace Oscar Suite for a VIP event held in conjunction with the 79th Academy Awards in Beverly Hills, California.

Our team has been entertaining entertainment stars such as James Lee and AJ Buckley (CSI NY), Kimberly Joseph (Lost) and Little Miss Sunshine Directors Jonathan Farris and Valerie Dayton. We are still getting tons of press coverage on the event; let us share with you some press clippings from the magazine The Hollywood Reporter.

Also check out this picture of Italian culinary specialist Francesco Zimone and Academia Barilla Marketing star Stephanie Sette with Sophia Milos from CSI Miami – Milos couldn’t stop eating our Italian gourmet specialties, pretty much like Paul Hagging (Director of award-winning movie Crash), who claimed he was in heaven while tasting our strawberries with balsamic vinegar.

A few days later Francesco Zimone hosted another LA event at the Palmieri Restaurant, as we reported in a previous post. If you live in the LA area don’t miss this regularly scheduled tasting event. Save the date: your best Italian gourmet experience in LA happens every first Monday of each month!

From West coast to East coast in a blink, and here we are again in Chicago and New York for other two tasting events.

Academia Barilla Events: Rustico Cooking in NYC At the beginning of this month, on March 2, Academia Barilla’s Italian culinary specialist Rosario Procino has been the special guest for a one-day cooking event held at downtown NY’s Rustico Cooking, the NY cooking school headed by Micol Negrin.

The Rustico Cooking event was a very busy day, as you can see from this video Rustico Cooking posted on the web; everybody experienced hands-on traditional and innovative Italian cuisine using Academia Barilla products.

Academia Barilla Events: Sam's Wines in the Chicago AreaA few days later, last Friday March 8, Academia Barilla hosted another tasting event at the popular Sam’s Wines and Spirit in Highland Park, Chicago Area. Sam’s Wines is very famous for its large selection of fine wines and spirits, but they also have a great gourmet food store, where of course they showcase Academia Barilla’s fine Italian specialties.

Academia Barilla’s Italian culinary expert Mario Rizzotti, who has been recently hopping from tasting events to TV shows, was on location with our best selection of gourmet food to match the incredibly tasty Sam’s wines selection.

If you are a gourmet shop or restaurant owner, or a fine food distributor or food show organizer, and you want to get in touch with Academia Barilla to organize a gormet tasting event like the ones above, please get in touch with us.
Please call Academia Barilla’s Italian Culinary Specialist team in the United States at +1 847-405-7564 – we’ll be happy to organize a gourmet initiative with you.

Last but not least – what about this blog?

We have been working on a very cool gourmet web project, which is on its way to be launched soon – but sorry, no anticipations yet… it will be a very palatable surprise for all Italian food lovers.

Just stay tuned and follow Academia Barilla on Italian Food Lovers!
