As we announced last week, Academia Barilla has been invited by Channel Fox8 to present a live TV demonstration of traditional cooking and tasting of Italian extra-virgin olive oil and balsamic vinegar.
Academia Barilla’s Italian Culinary Specialist and TV Chef celeb Mario Rizzotti was very entertaining during the TV appearance and, after talking about the availability of authentic Italian gourmet food in the States, he proceeded with a live demonstration on how to use extra virgin olive oil and balsamic vinegar in gourmet cooking. Mario is also one of the Judges for the popular TV show Iron Chef America, aired on Food Network, and recorded the Channel Fox8 TV show appearance immediately after running another tasting event at Farmer in the Deli. Last week, at the popular gourmet shop in Chesterland, in the Cleveland Area, more than 200 Italian Food Lovers showed up for the Academia Barilla’s Ohio tasting event.
